There's actually a fair amount to work with if it was set before the books. I even have a decent, if somewhat unrefined, idea if it was set a bit after the series.

Debatable, I think they're pretty medicore.

But, one set before... How far back? Like, dragons vs elves war back?

Not that far. Just a bit after the arrival of humans. I agree on the books being a bit mediocre, though. Too many loose ends and underdeveloped ideas.

Eh. They have their high points and down points. His writing skill seems to go up and seemingly on whim, but at least he can hold a storyline. I think the ending could have been better. A lot of things could have been better. But it's better than anything I could do, and that makes it good (to me, at least).

Anyway, this isn't an "Opinons on Eragon" thread.

We should have a Terminator roleplay where the cast are being hunted down by a T-800 or T-850 as it could be very interesting. Or a T-1000 if there is a decent reason for it due to the T-1000s not being in production due to the prototype being destroyed by the Arnie Terminator and Skynet was defeated after it sent the prototype back.

Because of the little to no interest on the Eragon RP, the idea is no more. I'm kindof on a creative slump right now, so no more ideas for a bit.

I had two very random ideas for RP's, though I myself would never bother to take a hand at them, just thought they were interesting

~The first is simple.. Zelda RP. Must I really explain? It has so much potential and many settings and eras to take place

~Ever played Portal? The testing chambers, the judgmental Glados, and having to literally think with portals? It could be set after the events of the 2nd game, being largely unaffected by any outside events. Simple group of random subjects being tested to see if they can survive. Most players would have no full memory of their past, but are very much alive. Really I can see it ending two ways.. everybody eventually die or the team or lone survivor beats the test.
Seeing as it'll be a trail of tests, people who are left behind still can catch up.. while others may speed ahead.. neither choice may be the best. New players would be placed in a nearby current chamber, all the more keep progression. And for the name of the game, everything is unpredictable, anything is possible Now it would get crazy if everybody had the portal device, thus you need to make things more interesting so the Dm should randomly assign certain devices to each player. Some may be rarer than others, but all players are stuck with what they got<_< so no trading/stealing. The leg supports you receive in game? The ones that prevent your legs from snapping from falls? Those would be one said device. May just allow everyone to have some support, a certain limit but nowhere compared to the device focused on it. A portal gun that only can shoot one side of the portal>_> while another Pc may get the other. Really forces the two to work together.. and may just be the most unlikely pair. Powerful? Yes, but very limiting.. and useless if the other dies. However unlike before with portals>_> falling to your death is a risk. We may see a special gel gun, very much giving unique properties or familiar ones. And just for kicks.. a gravity gun would be a nice touch>_> if one must.. make two forms. One that pulls and the other that pushes. One device that may be overkill would be one that undoes time>_> fixing destroyed portions of the map
All said and done, Glados ultimately would control how limited each device may be in a certain chamber and may even deactivate it completely..
In truth, it's a cool idea, but tricky mechanic, but would surely create or destroy many lovely bonds

I feel like making a Pokémon RP. Mew and other Legendary pokemon ((excluding Mewtwo who was made)) had to of come from somewhere SOMETHING had to give them DNA particularly ones born of elements like Raikou, Suicune and Entei

It could be fun. And very silly but if the right DM handles it well, it could have a plot that is full of stuff that Saints Row have and still be excellent.

Most RPs without a plot fail very early. That combined with "smut5eva" will lead to this RP never being approved.

Saints row is not just about smut and it was a joke. It just requires some censoring and toning down.
