Oh damn, thanks, somehow I missed Fez. That would have been a definite fail, Fez was number one on that list. I absolutely love the 2D/3D idea, so I've wanted to get it for a while.
I'm not sure about Bastion, got a "TPB demo" (

) to check it out (I never pirate indie games, but I often download a cracked copy to test-drive it for half an hour and see if I want to buy it, or to decide how much I want to pay for HumbleBundle) and I thought it looked fun. I'm not exactly looking for a life-changing experience here.
Oh, and Legend of Grimrock is great, if you like old-school dungeon-crawlers with some pretty smart puzzles and a rather high learning curve (at least compared to most new games).
[edit:] Seriously reconsidering Fez right now. Got another "demo" and first it took me about an hour to get it running (this happened at first:)
...and then it wouldn't hold the same resolution while it was running. So the first screen was nice 1920x1080, then it froze for a long moment, and then it jumped back to 1280x720, leaving half the action about 30cm outside the edges of my freaking monitor. Can't very well play the game I can't see, can I?
I found several sites with solutions to different Fez problems, but nothing works so far, and the number of people complaining about bugs is beginning to worry me. The user reviews on GOG are in two categories - people who managed to run it say "great!" or at worst "cool idea, but gets repetitive after a while", and the other
half says "it's broken".
Abel (and anyone else who has Fez) - any ideas? Does it always act like a buggy Skyrim mod, or am I just having a bad day?
