I've tried it before. Morrowind is a special kind of game that I wouldn't compare with the other TES games because it was the transition from Arena and Daggerfall to Oblivion and Skyrim.Linkuya wrote:You should try it. Have you posted yours?I don't have this game yet. I may get it soon, but I don't know.

Re: Post Your Character!
my imperial paladin is now a templar knight of the legion and adept of the cult. he is going to take some time off and concentrate on his non-combative skills so that his faith and mind will grow.
i've been playing a very organic style that is much more natural. i purposefully trained to get my endurance maxed and now i just play in-character. i don't worry about attribute bonuses, except, during level UP's. at those times, i merely look at my numbers to develop a very general strategy of which skills to use to raise specific attributes. i DO NOT check and re-check or level up and reload to get better multipliers. as well, when combined with my training rules, i have never enjoyed morrowind more than i do now.
and, i have skyrim's many faults to thank.

Re: Post Your Character!
I decided to reroll and have come up with two character builds that I am going to play since I'm going to tackle the main quest on one and do other faction quests and general role-playing on another. They are both dark elves, one male and one female, and I figured that I would have my male dark elf do the main quest while my female does quests for two of my favorite factions - the Mages Guild and Great House Redoran.
First, my choice for the main quest...

Re: Post Your Character!
I'm assuming your choice of weapon skills reflects your desire to wield Trueflame, Keening & Sunder interchangeably. Otherwise I don't see the point in having long blade, short blade, and blunt. Everything else looks fine though. Experience informs me that nearly any character build can make a good Nerevarine.Ediramadi wrote:

BTW, I like the Guardian, it's pretty similar to my Indoril War Priest build.

Don't even know why i said three lol, also created two new ones but forget the stats. swordwrath and shadowwrath, both skilled with long and short blades, and are both fast
I made an imperial joke class "idiot", even gave it a descriptiont too, gave it deliberate rubbish skills and a bad star sign, lol, i'll post the description soon

Re: Post Your Character!
I want to play through as Idiot class! I just finished (a couple of weeks ago) main quest playthrough and I'm totally trying to think of a new character, and Idiot would probably make it well challenging! I don't know enough about the game (only played the once) to pick the best (worst!) "rubbish skills" and I have no idea which star sign is the worst, so I would love to see your specs

Re: Post Your Character!
OK here's what I came up with:
I named him Bimp instead of Fargoth, and I decided there was no way I could handle playing Bosmer, so I went with High Elf. As in, dude. Wait, what?
I don't know what the weakest skills are, so I picked skills that I don't find particularly useful. Or that I just generally don't like to use, like short blade, bleah.
Sign: The Steed (because this seems really useless in the long run)
Favored attributes: Willpower, Luck (because these seem to be abundant in morons)
Major skills: Hand-to-hand, Acrobatics, Short blade, Mysticism, Axe
Minor skills: Athletics, Block, Unarmored, Heavy armor, Alteration
I guess Heavy armor is pretty useful, but I prefer medium. I'm sure there's ways to play where all of these are really useful, but I don't know those ways, so this should be good and challenging

I suppose if you wanted a real challenge, you could try something like this.

Lol, Demiverse, that character is awful. Though, with athletics as a major, it looks like it might have some speed to work with. You know, run from battle. Maybe put heavy armor in there to balance it out? With no easy way of dealing damage, I don't see what harm a bit of protection will do lol.

Re: Post Your Character!
LOL yeah I thought about doing a no-weapons no-armor setup, but I am still pretty new to this game so I'm not sure I could pull that off. In fact, Bimp died a couple of times trying to get rid of those cave rats in Fighter's Guild Quest #1. And he has no money because nobody likes him. And he can't hardly stand in the same room with a magic attacker and survive. It's actually hilarious. (And difficult)
I wish I had given him Sneak (which I don't use much) instead of Axe, because I could cheat by giving him a 2-handed axe, which defeats the purpose of making something that's difficult for me. So I better not do that. I guess if I don't use (whoops fingers slipped) it then it doesn't matter.

Re: Post Your Character!
Yeah, I'm particularly fond of the Altmer + The Lord birthsign combination resulting in a whopping 150% weakness to fire. With 30 Health, that means any fire spell in the game would be an instakill. Also, I suppose Athletics could switch places with Speechcraft, to make the character slightly slower early on.Moeboid wrote:Lol, Demiverse, that character is awful. I'm not keen on adding an armor skill though. I'd be more likely to consider throwing in Hand-to-Hand if the character was too unbearably difficult.
You can also max out the difficulty slider in the Options menu if you're feeling particularly masochistic.kunimitsova wrote:LOL yeah I thought about doing a no-weapons no-armor setup, but I am still pretty new to this game so I'm not sure I could pull that off. Yes haha, that race/birthsign combo is brutal. Yeah, switch speechcraft and athletics. Still fast, with no weapons and armour, but slower at least.

Attaining those would certainly pose less of a threat to life and limb.

This is the IrishPotato the newbie. Yes go ahead its true
. Ive made many chars, but i will post my newest.
Nero the Imperial Knight: the best I ever had. I did virtually everything in the game. He was pure good in the world, turning down bad quests and was selfless. Ended with enchanted High Ordinator Cuirass, and full enchanted ebony armor and clothes, with Trueflame and a custom enchanted glass axe. He was the stock Knight class. i loved him.
Jiub the Dunmer Nightblade: i like to stick with the stock classes as much as i can, but some of the skills are rediculous. I kept Nightblade stock EXCEPT i changed unarmored to alchemy. I am not too far yet, so ill just say i want lots of daggers and shortblades sheithed all over my body. That is all.

Re: Post Your Character!
I recently made, and am currently thoroughly enjoying a custom class. Honestly, I don't think I've ever had more fun or been so excited about a character's potential than with this one.
-I'll give reasons for some of my choices as they come up
I've also written up a description, however, I don't know it off the top of my head and I'll add it on later.

Pretty solid hybrid. The main quibble I have is with your choice of taking four offensive skills in Short Blade, Spear, Marksman, and Destruction...five, if you count Mysticism (e.g. Absorb Health). You may find you're stretching yourself a tad thin. Also, majoring in Illusion makes Speechcraft irrelevant.
But you're a Nightblade, so nothing else matters.

Re: Post Your Character!
I actually agree with your main quibble. Normally, I only have, at max, two offensive skills. This time though, I thought about how I wanted to be adaptable and be able to go down various avenues of approach when it came to fights, and, I found myself surprisingly okay with so many damage based skills. This time, haha.
