With all this talk of extra fees it probably won't be cheaper in the long run.

:wat: Get your facts straight bro, the Xbox 360 has the same amount of RAM. The only difference is that the PS3 splits it with the cell processor; the Xbox has shared RAM. Both companies have shared RAM now, at least they will upon release. And Bethesda said multiple times that this was not the problem. The problem was completely code related. This is almost the exact opposite of what you said. Only the part about the cell was correct, and even that is false once you learn it's layout.

Okay, this is really boggling my mind, why are people leaning so heavily towards the PS4 at this point? Is there something revolutionary that the PS4 has the the Xbox One doesn't?

I'm sorry I'm not buying an Xbox, Frosty. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

well, it has announced Deep Down, was it said it was an exclusive? i can't remember. And it has the always recording/instant replay feature, which appeals to me, and no mention of such a feature was made for the xbox right?

of course, these things may not matter depending on what exclusives are announced at E3.

Is this how you normally react when three, whole, whopping people disagree with you? Even if it was one thousand, six hundred, twenty-three, people are going to think differently than you. I find it mind boggling that anyone can like My Little Pony, but you don't see me in the MLP thread saying that.

I disagree with you on this divisive subject. I demand that we spend the next five hours asserting our opinions over it with blunt conjecture and assumptions.

Since I don't care one bit about TV, social interaction, skype or any of the things they showed at Xbox One reveal, and I care for games, so far PS4 has my interest. And I've been with Playstation since PS1. Oh, and the recently announced used games fee that will be on Xbone.

The Xbox One will have a recording feature, giving you the ability to record, edit, and upload gameplay. I don't know about instant replay, but I would have to assume so with the recording feature.

@frosty..

I have enjoyed the 360 for 3 years now, b4 then I had the ps3 but it broke.. I will however buy the new ps4 simply because I'm sure ps network will be free and I have a sneaky suspicion xbox live won't be.. So I'm paying 10$ a month for netflix, xbox basically doubles that fee to use their network to watch it.. Also I bet that the Xbox will cost 100$ more, so it comes down to finances for me.. To be honest I'm saving for a custom desk top which will make ps4 and xbox one obsolete I'm my house...

No, I'm referring to the internet as a whole, not you guys.

Fixed it for you there, Frosty. I honestly wouldn't say there's anything that makes the Xbox One 'damn good' in my eyes.

And to answer your earlier question; I probably won't be buying any console but to me it's not what PS4 are adding that makes them superior it's what they're not adding.

Edited: I meant Xbox One. Not the original Xbox. Original Xbox was damn good.

I have to say that of the two PS4 looks more enticing, to me. I am not likely to buy it, but there is a chance... After all, my dad's a huge console gamer and we might end up with one of the two.

I dunno. Most of X1's gimmicks aren't really too appealing to me, and PS4 looks to be a purer console for gaming. Plus, less getting wrung for cash like a dish towel.

Personally, I have no particular brand loyalty... My gaming platform evolution was SNES, PS2, 360, PC. And my primary mobile device is an Apple. XD

Because of the things Microsoft is doing. Did you see any of that? They aren't getting mad over nothing.

What I've heard so far is rumors that one would need to connect to the internet once a day for the thing to work, and the feud over used games, but I'm not sure if those are even confirmed yet.

I don't really care about exclusives either. "OMG, thirty days of exclusive dlc time on a CoD game that will come out again in a year. Of course I'll invest in a cable box..er game system for that!"

13 Xbox One exclusives, 8 of which are brand new franchises
There's more than a one-month exclusivity deal for CoD. :P

Yeah, it's not the PS4's going to have a bunch of exclusives of its own to brag about or anything.

I have always preferred the Playstation exclusives. But that's a personal thing, obviously.
