not to mention it hurt ... a lot.
it was a Big Bloody Ant.
Think of it this way: at least it was an ant. I've heard of fish doing a lot worse.
There's been a few moments on River Monsters that have made me cringe in pain and I'm a woman.
And I just remembered something else creepy that's happened to me.
I was probably three or four years old or maybe even younger (don't ask how I can remember this because I'm not sure) and lying in a crib at night in our old home. I heard footsteps coming from above me, and even then I knew there was nobody up there (it was the attic and nobody ever goes in there for any reason). It scared the hell out of me.
That happened continually in that house until we moved here around 11 years ago. Or was it 12? I don't know.
Creepy things? I had a dream about getting my leg impaled by spikes, the following day during a cross country race my leg got impaled by another kids spikes.

Last night I went downstairs and I felt like I saw a dark figure out of the corner of my eye (but I was tired so I doubt it was anything) and I started to get really scared, and scared turned to horrified, and I ran back upstairs... so weird. That hasn't happened for years...
I'll tell you what's creepy: hearing a loud [&@%!] noise in the early hours of morning coming from the downstairs garage. Hours later, its determined a black bear feasted on your trash. BEAR IN MY HOUSE=CREEPY.
Was in the shower on the weekend and thick red hair came up the drain.
Strange thing is no one in our house has it has ever had red hair.
Oh and apparently as a Kid I spoke to a grand parent who passed away two years before I was born. I hadn't even beem yold her name and I could say it perfectly and described her exactly as she was.
When we had just moved into the house we were renting in Washington, my aunt found an Ouija board in the game room. I always felt uncomfortable when going down there. (Might have just been getting used to a new place.) So anyways, my aunt decides to move the ouija board to the cottage that was in our backyard. After she moved it I stopped feeling uncomfortable while down there.
So after a few days with the ouija board in the cottage, it started being vandalized. After a few weeks of this, my aunt decides to throw the ouija board out. Once she did that, the cottage stopped being vandalized. Might of been a coincidence, but it was still pretty creepy.

One day when I was young, I went fishing on a rather large lake in Michigan with a cousin. We were in a small Boston Whaler, anchored in a shallow bay full of many aquatic plants. Two older men who happened to be smoking and wearing wifebeaters started staring at us. They were driving a large, beat-up speedboat of some kind. They slowly approached. My cousin and I became quite suspicious of them, but we decided it was best to ignore them for the time being and see if they went away. As they continued their advances, we pulled up our anchor and moved deeper into the bay, thinking that the two men could be moving towards something else and that we were simply in their way. They turned and followed us. We decided the best course of action was to try and drive around them and hopefully make it to our house before they were able to catch us. By this time the area we were in was completely clogged with aquatic plant life and it was a miracle that our motor had not given out on us. They were not so lucky. Just as they attempted to begin the chase their motor choked on the numerous reeds and died. Because of those reeds, I can safely say I have never been raped. I owe those reeds a debt that I shall never be able to fully repay.

I am so, so sorry if this upsets, or offends anybody.... But I found this particular part to be absolutely hilarious!!

I went on a vacation one summer and was staying with relatives. While I was at the beach I felt has though there was something terribly wrong with my body. As one of my parents was driving me to our relative's house, I fell into a frozen state. My eyes would not blink, my body would not move. I looked out that window at the passing trees as they walked and talked with one another. The trees came alive and grew many faces of joy and sorrow.
I'll post part two if anyone wants later.
