Other than the mace, I don't like Mystic Knights.

I agree. I think the ending for this game was done well. We were actually given an ending to things, instead of setting up our Arisen for a sequel and leaving us at a cliffhanger.

Best ending I've seen for a while.
Also I find the Magik Archer is best for the Ur-Dragon.
And Dovah, just wait for post game- I still find it difficult and I'm level 96.

I remember only spending a few hours in the end game. before creating a new char. the one I took up again recently.
regreting it now.

Btw, how do you guys deal with the lack of pregression once you hit max vocation level? I was a strider, and I'm almost at max magick archer.

It's disappointing as you will end up with lots of experience and nothing to do with them. It would be been nice if we could have used it to buff the vocation's stats but requires high amounts of it. I've heard about post game. Doesn't sound pleasent.

 Hey does anyone have a Golden Weapon they don't want? I'd like to have it because I lost my previous save last time I loaded the game up and I lost the weapon along with my save. Plus, I miss having a golden weapon. I'm on Xbox and my GT is Bug Guts.

I keep gold weapons even though they are useless. They tend to be in storage along with the stuff that you recieve at the begining of the game.

I've turned my Strider into an assassain and my main pawn into a ranger. Seems okay so far apart from the fact that we are going through the vocation ranks very quickly but luckily, we get lots of experience. Bandits are easy now due to us being level 30. Am currently doing the Tome quest and am trying to do it the peaceful way but Maul won't accept skulls yet. Also fought a griffin earlier. Bugger fly off when i reduced it to it's final health bar. Also fought saurians in that fight as well. Cyclops are very easy at this stage of the game and i caused one to fall to the Brine in the Watergod Alter. Twas a smaller one. Have changed my tatics. I now unleash a flurry of arrows at it's eyes then climb onto ti.

Not really as it comes down to how you prefer to play. I switched to Assassain due to me having an excess of exp and wanted to see how it was. It's a fight/strider hybrid although i would advise sticking to your class's original weapon as chances are you would be used to using that weapon type.

Then it should suit you. I think most of the dagger skills are aimed at being more powerful then the strider ones.

I've played close to all vocations and..
Assassin is really good damage wise, but you need to be sure not to get hit.

Just did the Arousing suspsicion quest. It doesn't take much for the Arisen to fall in love then. At least, that's what the game seems to be implying. I'm begining to think that Capcom doesn't know how to do romance in it's RPGs.

I don't like Aelinore, so I almost don't do it. Also do Duchess in Distress, right after...

I'm more of a Quina person. Have you read that backstory? Even I thought that was kind of moving.......

Well technically she's older than you. But that's beside the point, #Quina&[&@%!].

Is Dark Arisen worth it, you know beyond making things totally 'splode. I might shell out a little extra at Gamestop if it is.

From what I've played it's a tonne of fun, very, very challenging, but fun.
I recommend a lot of holy enchants and a balanced team with at least one Mage and a strider/ranger. There's just some stuff you don't want to get close to.
