Hi.
I'm still on Skyrim LE, of course I should have mentioned that. I have never done anything in CK, and I know I am late to the party. I have looked at TES Alliance, but I couldn't find my way there. The page seems to be what I was looking for. Thanks.

Help with making a mod
Hello.
I want to make a mod that changes the look of the Longhammer to a Steel (or maybe Nordic) warhammer. I want to keep the stats and I'm ok with tempering with orichalcum, I just want the mod to change textures (and meshes?). I am totally newbie in the modding business, so how can I accomplish ...

Re: Hakar - where are you?
It's been a while since I met him, but it has always been during night time. I don't have any suggestions at this point; I don't know if it is possible to check the console in order to find out if you already met him.

Re: Hakar - where are you?
No, it's the road turn before the lifts. West of Windward Ruins, right after passing some ruins/stone rubble. If running west you have a dragon mound on your right side. Afaik there is just one spawn point in this area, so probably where you met the redguards.

Re: Hakar - where are you?
Where did you run into him. I'll try and run over there and trigger it for myself and put myself at peace!
In Whiterun Hold: on the road west from Whiterun, a random encounter point west of Secunda's Kiss and south of Fort Greymoor.
In Pale Hold: on the road from Dawnstar towards Stonehill ...

Re: Hakar - where are you?
Looked at this already.
It seems contradictory.
Lynoit is the one found with ash piles not Hakar.
Look at the last part:
I finally had an encounter with Hakar! The other Dawnguard couriers seem to keep to the Hold(s) where the caches they are in charge of are located (not sure about the ...

Re: Hakar - where are you?
So why, in the game guide does it state categorically that he can only be encountered in Whiterun Hold? Or is it yet another typo error?
The guide may be correct, in theory, but the game itself isn't without bugs. This confirms he may be found in other holds: http://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim_talk ...

Re: Hakar - where are you?
I've seen him twice as I can recall; once on the road from Dawnstar towards Stonehill, where the road turns left (near Mzinchaleft), and where a path goes towards Pale Imperial Camp. Second time on the road west from Whiterun, a random encounter point west of Secunda's Kiss and south of Fort ...

I had the same problem, and found that I could avoid the CTD by disabling USKP just before Sanguine did the teleportation. This was with the 2.0 patch.

I've done this quest twice, I think. First time Adelaisa Vendicci was the lucky winner, and I believe Torvar volunteered the second time.

She didn't even bat an eyelash when my assassin recruited her for the nanny position available at her swampy home.
Hearthfire... I don't have that. But apparently, Annekke isn't committed to her marriage if she can be so easily swayed.
I tried Annekke as steward, but I got so fed up hearing ...

Re: Leveling mod - alternatives to KCAS?
That is a possible way with that part of the question. But I also want to do something with the level system, so maybe combined with ""All +5 Attribute Modifiers": http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/2691/?
The ""Oblivion XP update" also looks interesting, but it seems it does quite a lot: http ...

Thanks to you anyway. In addition to the other I mentioned in my previous message NGCD/Fundament by tejus also seems to do what I described. I will look into these later.

Doing some web searching I found a mod on Oblivion Nexus that may be what I was looking for: Realistic Leveling (by abo) (no. 13879). Other suggestions are welcome, though.

Thanks for the answer. I tried OOO back in the days, and it changes quite a lot, in particular the "leveling problem", that everything levels with you, described here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Leveling

Re: What's In A Username?
Mine is my first name. It is a variety of Geirr, an old norse word, meaning "spear", and found used as name, alone or combined, in the oldest written texts. In Skyrim the name is found as Geirmund, Geirlund, and of course Lake Geir.

Leveling mod - alternatives to KCAS?
Back when I played Oblivion I used KCAS (Kobus Character Advancement System) to change the leveling system and also slow down level speed. I am planning to try Oblivion again, but see that this mod is no longer supported, and, even though I don't use many mods, there's always a chance for trouble ...

Re: Your favourite spot in skyrim?
Nilheim is a place I try to get to early, and I fight the bandits by the bridge so I just can throw them into the river from there. The last goes with Fus Do, and then the place is mine. Beautiful views wherever I look. I have tried to find a mod that uses this place as player home, but I haven't ...

I like most of the music in Skyrim, and it's hard to pick a favorite. But especially after installation of Dawnguard I have mostly spent the nights outdoors, and the Night Themes are beautiful, and in particular no 2.
I also like the music from forgotten Vale, moving through the valley.

Since his field journal is written in 4E 58, probably not long after he entered Blackreach, and with no updates, I find it likely that he must have died not long after.

Hello, folks.
Concerning the Altmer, I am not sure if the book De Rerum Dirennis have been mentioned. The writer, Vorian Direnni, member of the Direnni clan, starts the book with saying:
