Re: My Perfect First Character- Input?
Yeah, I guess it's a little weird, but I mainly do it to get even more excited. I'm sure I'll be making changes, but this is fun! I put all the skill perks I'm pumped about.

Re: My Perfect First Character- Input?
Yeah, I thought about that; I'll probably just have a couple destruction spells, my main healing spell, and my favorite summon set to my quick bar. The only times I'll need alteration or illusion hopefully won't be in hugely stressful situations where I'm in danger of running out of time or mana.

Re: My Perfect First Character- Input?
You will only be able to get 50 perks ;)
I thought so too! But then I read this:
The game imposes a soft cap at level 50. Past level 50, leveling up happens much more slowly. The theoretical level cap (maximum level) is around level 70, reached by increasing all skills to 100.

Re: Theory: multiplayer on DLC?
I kind of liked the way fable 2 did it. If you have a registered friend (none of this random match-up crap) that you want to play with for a bit, you have the option to invite them into your world, which fits into story by just saying "Hey. There's this adventurer in the tavern I've not met. Let's ...

Re: Most of the perks released.
I LOVE that our characters can't be perfect at everything; that always kind of made me sad in Oblivion, but is anyone else frustrated that we can't even be perfect mages or rogues? There isn't a way to get all the magic perks or stealthy ones.

Re: Faction Perks
I agree!! I always hated how I felt obligated to wait until level 32 to do the Dark Brotherhood, because if I didn't, I was missing out on the best bow in the game. Ugh! I really appreciated in the Knights of the Nine how you could place your armor on a stand and get the version appropriate for your ...

Faction Perks
Everyone remembers the Archmage's Tower/Enchanted Chest/Mage Underling, Fighter's Guild Salary, Shadowmere, Nocturnal's Cowl, etc. What are we thinking will be the rewards for the new factions?

Re: Companions?
Yeah... If companions aren't going to be immortal, I'd really like there to be some sort of resurrection spell. Not zombifying or anything; I'd even be okay if there was a time limit, like... you have 30 seconds after they hit the ground to bring them back from the brink of death. Just saying, if I ...

Definitely a full-on stereotypical high elf mage. I'm one of those weird people who like to look at every quest and npc, so I'm really really excited to get started. The magic system looks AWESOME.

Re: Vampires Confirmed
Can we please revamp the feeding system? They should keep being able to feed on people in their sleep, but having only that option kills the thrill of the hunt. We should be able to overpower and then feed on our enemies which are near death, or on fresh corpses.
I'd like to tell you otherwise ...

haha. My friends and I have already asked off work through the 15th. They're each bringing their computers/systems and tvs over and we're going to play for days straight in my living room! So pumped.

We all know girl on girl is what you would call 'Fantasy'. However i dont see how gay males would appeal.

Re: Race Sex and Marriage
I'm so sorry if I've missed something, but are same-sex unions confirmed as included in Skyrim? That would be fantastic, and almost expected after the groundbreaking progressiveness of the Dragon Age games, but I've not seen any official posts to prove that this will even be an option for us. I know ...

5th Anniversary Edition
Hi! I had a question regarding the 5th Anniversary Edition of Oblivion.
Everything I've read said that it will contain all the GotY content and DLC, but does that include Frostcrag Spire, Battlethorn Castle, Horse Armor, etc, or is it just the expansions?
As a Playstation 3 owner, I've not had ...
