Maybe every now and then after you're the harbinger of the Companions, the bandits around Whiterun see you and say, "Oh man, we'd better not mess with this guy," and run away with their tails between their legs. Same goes for thanes, Dragonborn, wearers of full daedric armor, etc ...

Re: any info on different realms in skyrim?
All I can think of is that we've been told is that Bethesda wants to do fewer, but much larger DLC releases. They've said they had a lot of fun with SI, but I don't think they've released any info on their intentions for Skyrim.

Re: Nord Warrior Name
Google translate tells me "stamfar" means ancestor in Norwegian. Can I get a verification? An alternative? I'm thinking I'm going to make my Nord an extension of my Oblivion char, who's slept (or something) for the past 200 years so as to fulfill his destiny in Skyrim(he didn't become the Champion ...

Thanks for the reply. That doesn't really look like it does in the inventory screen, though.

Re: Skyrim could have werewolves and Vampires?
They never really denied it, only declined to talk about it, IIRC.
I just saw some gameplay, and they actually look pretty good. I'll definitely play as one at some point. Probably while a Bosmer.

Re: Do you think the Imperial Army faction is evil?
There are words to describe the two as both good and bad. I don't think either side can be called evil. It simply depends on your character's perspective. My first char will be a patriotic Nord warrior, so obviously he'll side with his freedom-fighting brethren. I'll probably play to the other side ...

Re: Skyrim Image Encyclopedia
Do we have a picture of hide armor being worn? It seems a though the two inventory screens that we do have of it show it folded up. With this view the armor looks like simply some graves and a shoulder strap, which is awesome.

I never thought of it, but a white Khajiit would be awesome... obviously like a White Tiger
Agreed! I was blown away when I saw that one journalist's white Khajiit. The Argonians look great, too. I'll probably play a red one at some point.

I don't know if this was a rumor or not, but killing a dragon to level up, I just couldn't have that.
I don't know where you heard this, but I can say without a doubt that it isn't in. Loads of the journalists who have already played leveled up, but only one of them succeeded in bringing down a ...

Did anyone else notice what looks like a new shout?
The dragon shouts when he lands on the tower. Something like a fireball falls. I only saw one, but the camera turns downward, away from the sky. So, do you think this could have been a firestorm call?

I'll play through all of them eventually, but I voted Stormcloaks. My first character will be a patriotic Nord warrior, so he'll want to see his homeland rid of Imperial tainting.

Tbh I think it has to be more than just that. More interesting fights, some twisted backstory - you getting absorbed in a fight or something.
You can't just repeat what you did in the last game, and then take money for it.
It wouldn't be exactly the same. I believe the lore states that each city ...

The legend spies is a great idea! Also as far as the evil warriors...I don't think they'll make a appearance in skyrim mainly because there's only 3 weeks left tell 11/11/11. However I'm sure there are many factions Tom hasn't mentioned so there is hope.

I reeeaally want to see Markarth Side. It looks huge. If I'm not mistaken, the most recent video showed some of Markarth when Matt Carofano was revealing the Become Ethereal shout. That bit was awesome because the cell isn't flat at all. The cities in Oblivion felt flat to me, excluding Bruma, which ...

Just a quick question:
Do we know how cooking works yet? I was thinking that any old fool could learn a fire spell and cook some meat, but I don't think it would be so simple.

2) more evil factions that don't envolve sneak!!! There are many deferent kinds of evil! You can be a evil warlord or Mage not just a stealth character.
I hadn't given this much thought. I do kinda feel as though there should be good and evil sides to each archetype. We know necromancy is now ...
