Skooma?!

Post by Not-Fade-Away »

In the main quest, you know the guy you have to deliver the package to? Underneath his bed I noticed some equipment that you would use to take the drug Skooma(or something like that). WTF?! :?

Causius Cosade, that is spelled wrong but it's around the lines of that. Yes, it's ironic, the place where you get the papers( cencus offfice) also has a skooma pipe( I think) :? I'm not sure. It's skooma, moon sugar is kinda like crack. But enough of illegal substances. :D

Just one of those little things in the game that shows you not everyone's perfect... the guy you take orders from is a drug addict.

and later on he (mild spoiler: highlight below)goes back to Cyrodiil, because he says there's "Unrest in Cyrodiil city" but I think the local authorities were catching on about his drug posession... :)

It was weird because when I looked at the "Skooma Pipe" under the bed, he cleared his throat as if to say: "What are you doing looking under there?" Probably just a coincidence, but still a cool little moment.

Yes, its very weird. You know what else I think is sort of ironic. If you're under level 3 or 4 I think, go see Blades trainer Nine-Toes. He'll give you some sugar to sell. Seriously, they don't want you to be the Nerevarine, you're just there to help the blades with their underground drug smuggling. :(

Well, at least it's realistic. They're just like the CIA! :)

Except that i tdoesn't make sense. Why would the emperor send you to the island to become Nerevarine - Lord Nerevar incarnated - the one that will unite the tribes and fight AGAINST the empire?!

No they sent oyu there because somehting strange is happening. Blight disease is spreading, people are getting upset and restless there are great houses that are increasingly violent toward each other...

Although Horribly off topic...

You were sent to become the Neraverine. The reason you were supposed to be one of the Blades is so that the Empire had control over you..or the power to get close to and stop you if the need be.
