Going back to Vamparism after being cured....?

Post by Ayoub »

I got a little into the Dark Brotherhood when I get the offer by V.V. to become a vampire. So I go for it.

Now I've got these kick-butt skills and 0wzn everyone, which sounds real good, except for the fact that I accomplish most of my gameplay in daytime. And Whaddauknow? You loose health in daytime as a Vampire.

So I want to go back to a...normal...character by getting healed, but after that, is it possible to go back to being a vampire or is it just a one-time chance?

Thanks

yes you can go back to being a vamp. you just have to get infected by going into a cave infested with vamps and then wait a couple of days. you know when you get infected when the message says "you've contracted pryphorac hemophilia" or something like that. However, I'm not sure if you can reuse the cure or if that's a one time thing because I know it takes a while to get ingrediants

I believe that if you go through the Vampire Cure quest, you can never become a vampire again. I'm not sure if the same applies to the Purgeblood Salts in Deepscorn, though.

No, that won't work once you've done the Cure Quest. You can still contract the disease, but you won't turn into a vampire anymore. It might work if you eat the beating heart of the Mehrunes Razor plugin. But I don't know about that.

Well.... You guys help me out.

Im a Khajiit, born under the thief, and my major skills are: Acrobatics, blade, light armor, mercantile, sneak, security, and marksman.

My sneak is 100.

The rest of my skills are from 40-60.

So is it worth it for me to be a vampire? Im level 10 btw.

I don't think it makes any sense to become a vampire because of the skill/attribute boosts you get. It's more a roleplay thing. The fact that you can't do anything during daylight is something that made me regret becoming a vampire. However, depending on your own style of playing, this might be something you enjoy.
