How do you access dungeon maps? [playing on PC]

I keep getting lost and stuck in dungeons, currently in Toadstool Hollow

In the game, without mods, you would scroll the mouse middle button. But there is a mod called Auto Local Map that will automatically take you to the local or dungeon map when appropriate. There's also a mod that will make the M key toggle the map on/off instead of just turn the map on. it's called M To Close Map. Hope this helps

I also got stuck in Toadstool Hollow. You need to jump down a level through the hole in Toadstool Hollow Doubleback, but in the remaster I found it difficult to shift the rockfall that blocks up that hole. The new physics make the rocks a little heavier, but I was eventually able to shift them enough to slip through.
