The world where Dagoth Ur win
I asked me this simple question in appereance but what the world of Morrowind could become if Dagoth Ur succeded in killing the Nerevarine?

Re: The world where Dagoth Ur win
I think Vivec and Almalexia would lose power while Dagoth Ur, with his closeness to the heart, would strengthen. I think the Tribunal could be overwhelmed by the 9 divines if the Nerevarine was defeated.

Re: The world where Dagoth Ur win
A likely outcome:
Morrowind becomes a powerful, isolationist theocracy.
The Tribunal disappears.
The Empire loses control of Morrowind.
Corprus and the Blight spread.
Dagoth Ur becomes the dominant divine ruler of the region.
Eventually, he may attempt to reshape all of Tamriel according to his vision.

Re: The world where Dagoth Ur win
Honestly if Dagoth Ur wins I think Morrowind probably becomes way stronger in the short term.Snurfouuh wrote: Sun Aug 13, 2023 10:14 am I asked me this simple question in appereance but what the world of Morrowind could become if Dagoth Ur succeded in killing the Nerevarine?
The Empire is getting kicked out, the Great Houses are either forced into line or replaced and the whole province finally gets united under one power instead of constantly fighting itself. Dagoth Ur would basically turn Morrowind into a proper independent Dunmer state again instead of an Imperial province.
If Akulakhan gets finished then Morrowind goes from being difficult to conquer to being basically untouchable lol. The Empire would have a serious problem because now Morrowind has its own god, the Heart and what is basically another Numidium.
Obviously the corprus and Blight stuff is horrific, but from a purely Morrowind point of view Dagoth probably sees it as rebuilding the Dunmer into something stronger and getting rid of Imperial influence for good.
So yeah, horrible for everyone who does not agree with him, but Morrowind itself probably becomes one of the strongest places in Tamriel
