On "On the Origin of the Name Lyg"

Post by ElderScrollsBjorn »

Hello all!

I'm wondering if anybody knows the provenance of the text "On the Origin of the Name Lyg" that can be found at the TES Fandom Wiki. I don't think the forum will allow me to link it for some reason, but basically it's a post/comment/something from Michael Kirkbride explaining that the name and concept for the "Adjacent Place" of Lyg came from a cup of coffee spilled on a map at the Bethesda offices during a fire alarm. It's an interesting read and one that I see referenced in lore discussions not infrequently, but as far as I can tell it doesn't have a UESP page. Should I make it one?

Go ahead and add a page for it. As far as I know, the worst that could happen would be that someone will come along and delete it for whatever reason.
