Unique Pauldron Armor Slot?

Post by Serine »

I have the distinct recollection of my friend telling me about a special piece of armor in TES4, and I thought it was added in Knights of the Nine. However, I just played through that quest again recently and the armor I'm thinking of never showed up. The armor is strange - it is equipped to an armor slot not used by any other armor in the entire game (a shoulder slot). I have never used mods, so it can't be that. What on earth am I thinking of?! I thought it was a part of the Divine Crusader's apparel...

You might be thinking of morrowind bc Oblivion doesnt have anything like that, unless its occupying the chest slot. Other than that, pauldrons have just been cosmetic

Hm. Perhaps. I'm guessing my friend just had his wires crossed or liked to mess with me (though he seemed like he also believed it). There were other things that he said that were also wildly incorrect, like that the Knights of the Nine quest allowed you to become one of the Divines. This was years ago. He might have misremembered from when he played or confused that with becoming Sheogorath's stand-in. Oh, well.
