Hello everyone!
Avid Oblivion player here. I love the game a lot and in the last month I've put at least 70 hours in my save. However, I've ran into a problem. My character has been turned into a vampire and is taking active sun damage. I saved the game and had an autosave, but then my game crashed. The save is unable to be opened and the autosave is also broken.
I would just load the last save, but unfortunately that's a save from a long time ago. I looked through the save files and there just seems to be a hole in my latest save and much earlier ones. It's pretty depressing. It seems like at least 30+ hours of gaming are lost.
I've read that the game has a tendency to crash when taking active sun damage, but now that I've got no other option, I'm kind of wondering if there's any way that I can still take up on that save. Does anybody have any clue? I'm kind of desperate, lol. I'm really hoping not everything just got lost.
