Skyrim on Nintendo Switch

Post by wheelman_23 »

Hello,
I have a question regarding the Switch version of Skyrim : Not to sound like a total idiot, but for Skyrim on Switch, are the control configurations tough to figure out or get used to, or are they even remotely similar to a PS4 controller setup ? Got a Switch for Christmas 2018 and although I don't have Skyrim for it YET, I wanted to be prepared before I'd ever have any shot at playing it on a Switch. :-D

What AngryNord is trying to say is, you might get more answers in the Skyrim-General subforum. ;)

(I asked the mods to move this a while ago but I guess they are busy.)

How do I turn off the 'Custom Destination' marker on the Nintendo Switch version? I can move it, but I can't cancel it. With it active, clairvoyance is directed to it instead of the active quest.

I am fairly new to gaming, and the Switch in particular. I am disabled and am trying to use this game as an occupational therapy type of activity by forcing me to use my hands.

Have you tried clicking on the marker itself? Maybe then it will give you a new option to remove the marker rather than move it to a new spot.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

(I'm assuming the asker has moved on, but maybe this answer will be useful to someone else)

The only way I've found to turn off the "Custom Destination" marker is to click somewhere else, as if you were going to move the marker to a new location, and then it will give you three choices, the third of which is to just remove the "Custom Destination" marker.
