Destroy Wall and Open Lock spells don't work

Hello there.

I made myself a spell to destroy walls on touch, which didn't work, although it still consumes the spell points.
Made another ranged one, same thing; this time, it even shows the magic animation being fired on the wall, but to no effect.

There's some doors in the Halls of Colossus which either aren't supposed to be opened via pilfering, or just have a really high success treshold. I tried a few dozen times to open them, always failed.
I then made a spell, thinking maybe I can open them if I have a 100% success chance. But nope. Although I remember that after trying the spell a few times on one door, I tried pilfering again and this time it opened. o.O

So what's the gist here? I'll list my spells' stats so that maybe someone can identify what's wrong with them.
By the way, I'm a level 15 battlemage, have 100 points in intelligence, 71 in agility, and 61 in luck, although most of the time I fortify the latter to 100. In case this is somehow important.

Wall Crush

• 1 target, touch
• 1 wall permanently negated.
• Save vs. magic

Destroy Wall

• 1 target at range
• 1 wall permanently negated.
• Save vs. magic

Arcane Lockpick

• 1 target, touch
• 1% chance of opening a locked door. Chance increases +7% per 1 level.
• Save vs. magic

Can someone help me out here? :C

Passwall needs to be cast on self/caster only and then you need to click on the wall you want to destroy.Same with open, you can try looking at the premade passwall and open to see how they work.
