After completing the main quest in Dawnguard, I have returned to the Boneyard in the Soul Cairn to convince Valerica to return to Castle Volkihar.
She isn't there!
The place is deserted.
So what's happened to her?
I just want to tidy up the post quest activities.
Where's Valerica?

Did you have Serana with you when you returned?
I think Valerica only shows up if Serana is with you.
(You should get a quest marker that shows Valerica's location in the Soul Cairn).

Found her!
She was hanging about outside the Boneyard. I was looking within the Boneyard - seemed the logical place to me!
There are no markers for the post quest activities, they aren't even listed in the quest inventory, which is a pain.
The post quest quests include sending Serana off to get cured by Falion. In the words of Greta Garbo, she "wants to be alone". She reappears at Fort Dawnguard five days later.
