Birds are Annoying

I have a bit of a peculiar problem. I have autism, and can get very perturbed by sounds that are recurrent. Like passing cars, birds chattering, boot/shoe clopping on a metal staircase, and so on.

Now Spring is due soon. And already the freaking birds are back. Most did not even fly south for the winter. As the sun begins to rise sooner again, the birds start their morning choruses earlier, too. Sometimes as early as 5:30 am... I who of course could wake up from as little as my cellphone being done charging and the screen lighting up, or the passing of a car, or train. Obviously get very little sleep. I have these: https://img.conrad.nl/medias/global/ce/ ... S_1000.jpg But I only put them on in the worst of times, as you cannot sleep very well with those clumsy things on. I've tried earplugs, but either could still hear everything, or have great trouble just putting them in. My hearing just is very very strong.

Long story short. I am an overintellectualizing creature that gets sarcastic easily. So my usual rant is: Freaking defective chemical processes (birds) Slaves to an instinct impressed upon them by biological binary programming. XD It just irks me that those blasted creatures keep having turf wars with each other and having to chatter/sing/etc and INVOLVE ME! wth I don't have anything to do with their freaking issues.

So This is an issue for me pretty much every year between Februari and July. Does any of this sound familiar? Does anyone have any bright ideas?

I have a completely different set of sleeping problems, but you might want to look into soundproofing your sleeping area.

Thanks for that. Some of these would create another problem. Too much ornaments and fanfare in the room. XD Too distracting. hehe.

In my locality, the crows start cawing very early (sometimes as early as 3 AM). To reduce the sound I close the curtains and sing a song, and even put a pillow on my head sandwiching it between pillows.

I guess my main issue is not that the singing is extremely loud, rather I have very strong hearing and just hearing a little beep could set me off. So unless I could make myself deaf for 8 hours, it would still perturb me. XD I guess I did not visit enough loud music concerts as a teenager and have undamaged ears. hahaha
