Will ENB cause problems for me is I am no longer using it?

I had tried using ENB at one time to try and achieve the insane graphics that I have seen other people post pictures about, but I was never fully able to replicate the results, and worse yet I saw my game's performance drop like a rock. My computer is a 64 bit machine, 8 core 4 GHz AMD chip, 16 GB RAM, and a 1 GB video card. I thought that I had uninstalled the ENB and everything that I had downloaded for it, but ever since then my game would CTD when the game starts from the main menu. It doesn't matter if I am continuing from my most recent game, loading a different save, or starting a whole new game, it would show the loading screen for about one or two seconds then crash.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Skyrim twice now with similar results, this last time running the game with no mods at all. I have no idea of what to do.

Never mind, after using ENB FXAA SweetFX Manager and Remover to remove all of the ENB stuff, it is now working (at least base game without any other mods).
