TES Game Crossovers
Sparked by the Doom/TES crossover thread, the question is:
What game(s) do you think would crossover well with the Elder Scrolls and why?

Anything will do as long as you get the style right.
I'm the feared Marisa Kirisame, known as Marisa Kurwa, bane of the hldm .cz, where my mere name is a curse, user of the exploits and a stalking crossbowwoman, hidden in the shadows, striking from the back.

Dynasty Warriors. The Elder Scrolls: Warriors. Tamriel Warriors.
Think about it. Experiencing all the wars throughout the history of Tamriel. of which there was many. Sounds like a blast, to me. In fact, I hadn't thought about it until now, but I want it really, really badly.
Then, of course, there's my idea for a multiplayer-capable TES game, here.

Tetris. A favorite of the Dwemer, for sure.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Dark Souls. Lore is hidden and excellent. Every one is from their own "world" due to Lordran's time being convoluted and i would love TES to have Dark Souls type of gameplay. Can easily be handwaived as a hidden world.
Call of Duty.
Call of Duty.

There is a MW plugin that adds tetris. As well as a plugin that adds randomly generated labyrinths.Pilaf The Defiler wrote:Tetris. A favorite of the Dwemer, for sure.

I'm hoping there's some sort of tron-like thing in the Sotha Sil expansion for ESO.Marisa Kirisame wrote:There is a MW plugin that adds tetris. As well as a plugin that adds randomly generated labyrinths.Pilaf The Defiler wrote:Tetris. A favorite of the Dwemer, for sure.

Re: TES Game Crossovers
Problem is that well, EA kinda has the rights to all LOTR games and well, LOTR tends to get crap-average games if based on the film. Now, Middle Earth:Shadow of Mordor, that was an excellent game. More middle earth based games are needed. But Lord of Elders:Fellowship of the lag would be excellent. Hell, a Lord of the Rings game that is a blanant clone of TES would be excellent.

Re: TES Game Crossovers
I'm pretty sure any ideas posted in this thread are always going to be extremely hypothetical, so discussing rights management issues and stuff doesn't really seem that important. If anybody's interested in the subject of a theoretical inter-IP crossover's corporate and legal issues go right ahead, it would probably be the nerdiest discussion on the forum this month.
In any case, considering the recent Total War: Warhammer, the most likely thing to shoot for seems to be Total War: Nirn or something like that. And some form of strategy format in general, be it real time or Grand Strategy (legoless suggested EU already). I'm pretty sure there's a Tamriel mod for Crusader Kings 2.

Re: TES Game Crossovers
Runescape. Like 2008 Runescape, not the new [&@%!]. Playing that in a Skyrim or Oblivion style? Or even an ESO style? Perfect.
