I helped the Thirsk Nords, but I want a Riekling pet

I helped the nords retake Thirsk, but I had no idea that they would be friendly if I just went to the hall first. Now my latest save is well after the quest, so I can't just reload. It would be ideal if I could somehow use console commands to get the reiklings back into the hall, but I would just settle spawning a Riekling to be a follower. Also, what should I get, a hunter or warrior? Warriors have more health, but hunters use range.
