Thieves Guild DLC

Post by skrigger »

Well, at last we have a date! For those of you who didn't see the news, ZOS has released the dates for the next DLC content, the Thieves Guild.

The new content will be available in the PTS for testing from next week, and we can expect the official launch in March, as it goes:

PC/Mac on March 7th
Xbox One on March 22nd
PS4 on March 23rd

I'm looking forward to revive the classic guild that has accompanied us since the old days, and experiencing...

- A new passive skill line, exclusive to members of the Thieves Guild.
- Hours of exciting story content and quests that will have you revisiting your favorite areas of Tamriel.
- A new Larceny System that includes repeatable activities such as heists, pickpocketing, stealing, and more.

Appart from the new zone, quests, skill line, trial, etc. (accessed via DLC purchasing or ESO Plus), there are quite some changes in the base game patch that particularly caught my attention and would like to mention:

- A 64-bit client for PC and Mac (improved memory handling?)
- Improvements to grouping, including incentives and the ability to queue up via the Group Finder with friends and guild members, regardless of their alliance! (yay! no more Vaults of Madness group-finding)
- Access to content from other alliances in any order you choose upon reaching Veteran Rank 1 (I yet have to finish Cadwell Silver, geez!)

Feel free to comment on the next content we'll be seeing in ESO. I got the info from this page.

See you in-game!

The new zone looks really cool, albeit a bit small. Can't wait to see how they integrate the quests with the base game zones. As a DK I'm not really looking forward to the sneaking involved but I'm staying optimistic about the quest mechanics.

This DLC seems to focus more on sneaky dungeons than a large overwold space, and I assume we'll get enough of those.
Really looking forward to it, I liked those sneaky missions in wrothgar as well!
The Early Beard catches the Storm.
