This year the North American branch of our guild is expanding our holiday events list!

Secret Father Saturalia Gift Exchange

This is a holiday gift exchange in the spirit of the popular Secret Santa game. Participants are assigned somebody to send a gift to.

If you're interested in joining, please sign up by Friday, December 18, 2015. You may sign up in this thread or by mailing me in-game. Please include information about your interests, your characters and their levels and builds, etc. You must be a member of the UESP guild (NA) to participate.

On Saturday, December 19, I will send you an in-game mail saying who you have been assigned to sent a gift to. I will assign names randomly by using https://www.random.org/lists/

On or before Wednesday, December 23, you should send the gift to your recipient.

Rules:

• Spending limit is 5000 gold. If you are using your own materials to craft something, then please consider the market cost of materials. Gold quality items and rare motifs are lovely, but this is supposed to be casual and low pressure.
• There is no expectation that the value of a gift should spend close to the spending limit.
• The more information you share about your interests and characters, the more likely you are to get something you want. However, do not name specific items you would like.
• You may include multiple items in your gift, but please limit it to the number of attachments allowed in a single mail (6 items).
• Creative and humorous gifts are encouraged, but don't give people junk. Funny stolen items are fine, especially in conjunction with "real" gifts.
• If you join, you are agreeing to send somebody a gift. If you will not be online on the day of the exchange, you may send the gift early.
• If for some reason you cannot send out a gift in time, let me know as far in advance as possible so that we can make sure nobody goes without getting a gift.

12 Days of Saturalia Prize Giveaway

If you've logged in within the last week, then you will be eligible for each day's drawing. Drawings will begin on Wednesday, December 16 with 1 prize for one person and continue, increasing by one prize per day, until December 27, where 12 players will each win a prize. A total of 78 prizes will be awarded. You do not need to be online at the time of the drawing to win. Winners will be selected using https://rolz.org/dr?room=uesp with witnesses. Winning on one day will not exclude you from winning again on another day, but each player may only win once per day.

You'll notice that we haven't tried too hard to make the song work. Mostly because we couldn't think of an ESO equivalent to all those calling doves and French hens other than [Poultry], and most people wouldn't consider that a very exciting prize .

Kill Your Friends!!

Ever looked at the list of Imperial City achievements and wondered how you'll ever get [Alliance Gladiator] - Kill 100 players while inside the Imperial Arena? Well, here's your chance.

On 27th December at 6 pm Eastern/3 pm Pacific/11 pm GMT join other UESP members in the Cyrodiil campaign of Haderus, where we will fight to the death. Repeatedly. Until everyone has their achievement!

Expect this event to take several hours, since everyone will have to get across Cyrodiil & into the Imperial City - which may take some time if your Alliance doesn't own much of the map.

Also, look out for our GUAR RAMPAGE and Group Photo on 1st Jan! More details later.

GUAR RAMPAGE and Guild Photo - Friday 1st January

Do you love your guar? Does thinking about your guar make you feel all loved and happy ? And do you want to show your guar off to the rest of the Guild? Then you probably want to come along to the second UESP Guild GUAR RAMPAGE!

This is a social event with no real purpose other than fun. We are going to meet in Cyrodiil and run around as a group with our guar. All characters of Level 10 and above are welcome, including those who prefer to ride senche, bears, and horses.

We will be meeting in the campaign Axe of Belharza, since it is relatively free of PvP.

A group from each Alliance will meet at the Cyrodiil gate at the following time:
10 pm GMT / 5 pm EDT (US Eastern) / 2 pm PDT (US Pacific)

I expect it will take about 10-15 minutes to get everyone organised, then we'll move off into Cyrodiil and meet somewhere in the middle. Then we will charge around on our GUAR (or senche, or bears, or horses), followed by GUILD PHOTOS, and some individual strictly consensual 1-on-1 PvP. You may choose to do this clothed (in your usual gear) or naked (because it's funnier).

Please dye your armour purple and gold! DC characters may wear their UESP Tabards, but members of other Alliances will find that their tabards turn white in Cyrodiil.

If you want to be even more social, please obtain and install the free Teamspeak 3 Client prior to arriving. You don't have to have a microphone, and you don't have to talk out loud if you don't want to, but it's much easier to give instructions that way.

After the GUAR RAMPAGE and GUILD PHOTOS, we will split into Alliance groups to run any PvE content that you want to - Skyshards, Lorebooks, delves etc.
