I've looked for a mod like this several times, but perhaps I'm looking for the wrong terms. Basically what I would like is a mod that makes guards more forgiving of accidental hits while there's a combat going on. In particular during vampire and dragon attacks it's very annoying to receive a bounty because I clipped a guard with unrelenting force, or missed with an arrow etc., when we should be much too busy fighting the real enemy to care about such things.
So yeah, are there any mods that make guards behave more like the soldiers (they'll ignore a few hits), either all the time, or while they're fighting something else? Fighting dragons near towns and cities is epic, but because of accidental bounties they're also often frustrating, requiring me to either go back to an earlier save, or have any stolen items confiscated.

Re: More Forgiving Guards?
There's a console command to set NPCs to ignore friendly hits. I don't know where that value is set in the Creation Kit, though.
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.
