Perks and Followers?

So, I know a few followers come with their own perks, which do seem to have an effect (Mostly +damage perks). I've been pondering a mod that gives perks you've unlocked to your followers, and in the interest of not making it make sweeping changes quite so often, I was curious if anyone knew for sure which perks followers could utilize. Going off what I've seen followers have already, I'm assuming they all work except for ones that affect actions they cannot do (alchemy, smithing, zooming in on the bow, lockpicking will be useless as they are masters anyway, etc.)
