Resurrecting a merchant

Bersi the merchant died. I don't know how, probably vampires, but I resurrected him using console (I customarily do so with merchants). However I had to recall his corpse to do it. Although the resuscitation was successful,he no longer sells anything (perhaps because too long had passed from his death). I already tried disable/enable. Might there be another way to restore his merchant function?

It might have something to do with Drifa taking on the role of shopkeeper after his death.
