Who are the best Dead Thralls?
Orchendor is the first one that springs to my mind because of his magic resistance, teleportation, vile vapor, and level cap. Ulfric Stormcloack is another good one (Fus Ro Dah!) except for his level cap (50). Who else is an excellent Thrall?

Ondolemar, cause well... he brings an entourage.
edit:
note that I think they cap out at 25 for Ondolemar and 30ish for his entourage. The extras will respawn periodically so long as Markarth is still under imperial control. If on pc using the unofficial patches, this is actually a bug that gets fixed.

Good work
I think I might build a High Elf with his own roving band of justiciars... that would be awesome!
On a different note: Today I came across a human that transformed into a Werebear. If I kill one while it's still human, and then thrall it, do you think it will transform into a Werebear Dead Thrall?

Unlikely, but it's worth a shot. Why not kill him as a werebear?

I didn't think it was possible to thrall a Werebear. If it is, I have been playing this game wrong for a long time.

What about a horse?
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

Re: Who are the best Dead Thralls?
I have tried horses and, masters of space and time that they are, I couldn't get them to thrall.
There is a problem with Nazeem... he's currently lying on the ground... full of riekling spears... with his head chopped off...as a sacrifice to Molag Bal.
Anybody know if you can thrall Kodlak Whitemane, or any of the people wandering around in the mists of Sovngarde?

A couple of Briarhearts is my go-to solution for most encounters.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

I found another one kinda like Ondolemar. If you thrall Mogrul (DB DLC) his buddy Slitter will also follow you.

Re: Who are the best Dead Thralls?
I'd like to keep frost trolls as my thralls, but the spell doesn't work on animals.
I'm @vonFawks in ESO. Typically play as my Dominion Khajiit, Jamashi Sweet-Tooth
My Steam ID is "mataata", or just look up Mataata von Fawks.

What thralls don't make groaning sounds? Those, to me, are the best.

Any of the ones with a "unique voice" tag. This is the list but keep in mind that not all the people there can be thralled. (several of them being essential)Leckan wrote:What thralls don't make groaning sounds? Those, to me, are the best.
