CK Error ; Scripting

hey guys..

i got a odd problem in CK, i can't seem to create any Script
when i go to any ingame object, right click it, go to properties, then scripts,
click Add, i get the "Add script to..." what ever is selected.

then i click [New Script], the box comes up with

with name, and extends, 2 flags "hidden, conditional"
and the documentation string

no matter what i enter, i allways get the same error
"The Extends script does not exist, please pick one that does"

and that is with the default information in it.

Name: newscript
Extends: ObjectReference
Hidden: Not Ticked
Conditional : Not Ticked
Documentation String : (Empty)

i tried all sorts of Extends they all fail

any reason why?
