This Sunday (8th February), join with other UESP members in your Alliance to catch as many 'unique' rare fish as possible. The event will run for 2 hours, from 6pm-8pm GMT / 1pm-3pm EST / 10am-noon PST.
Aim: To be the Alliance which catches the largest number of 'unique' rare fish.
Definition: A rare fish is one which appears on the Fishing Achievement for the area where you're fishing. They're unique because each type of fish only counts once per player.
e.g. for Stonefalls: Any of these 12 fish count, but only once per player. So if a player catches two Scum Carp and three Ricefish, that only counts as two fish towards your Alliance's total.
How we're going to measure this: At the start of the Tournament, you must link to your character's Fishing Achievement for that zone in UESP Guild Chat. That allows everyone to see which fish you have already caught.
Then, at the end of the event, you do the same thing. This allows everyone to see which fish you've caught during the Tournament.
:
Rules:
1) You can only play for one Alliance. Choose which character you want to catch fish with!
2) Any character of any level is welcome - but you might want to bring one who hasn't already caught a lot of fish.
3) Bait will be provided, although you can use your own if you have it.
4) You can join and leave any time during the event. Just make sure that you show your Fishing Achievement on Guild Chat when you arrive and when you leave, so that your totals can be included.
5) Trash talking along the lines of "Blood For The Pact!" is allowed and in fact encouraged, but should be aimed at Alliances not individuals. And remember that every minute you spend typing in text, you're not catching fish
.6) The number of 'unique' fish caught will be averaged over the total number of members of the team. Just to make sure that the Ebonheart Pact doesn't automatically win because there are more EP characters in the Guild
.Team Captains:
Aldmeri Dominion - @Wicked_Shifty
Daggerfall Covenant - @Faunter
Ebonheart Pact - @Nerevar-Telvanni
Prizes:
- Everyone will get a small prize for taking part.
- Each member of the team with the highest average number of 'unique' rare fish will win a bigger prize.
- Any individuals who completely fill their Achievement for the zone during the event will win an extra-special prize!
