How to add shouts to dragons?

I'm using the mod Dragons Reborn, which is a simple yet effective dragon enhancer. The only thing I'm missing is some additional shouts to dragons for added tactical challenge. So my question is: How can I edit the mod in the CK to give additional shouts to all dragons? And how to ensure they don't either neglect to use those or overuse them at the expense of breath attacks? And how do I limit the changes only to the particular mod file, so if I uninstall it or swap back to the original, everything reverts to status quo before the changes? I have practically no experience of the Creation Kit so I have to ask here, because I don't want to accidentally screw anything up.

For ensuring that your mod remains separate, you can make your .esp dependant on the Dragons Reborn .esp.
