Enemy magic level
Are there any reference pages where I can find the amount of magicka bad guys have? I would like to know how much Damage Magicka I need in poisons (how many doses) to silence them.

Re: Enemy magic level
NPC spell casters usually have much higher magicka/low magic cost spells/abilities compared to what you can have, ever, to make NPC mages in anyway effective. The AI is rather dumb with using magic, especially since they don't have access to the spell maker.
The easy solution is to just use Resist/Reflect Magic enchantments/spells. Don't bother with trying to drain them when you can use their attacks against them much more efficiently.

Re: Enemy magic level
I kind of figured that for the mages. What about spider daedra [and Storm Atronachs w/weakness to poison]? It helps to silence them, but that wears off well before my summoned Dremora Lords can kill them.

Re: Enemy magic level
Storm Atronach's spells are immune to Silence as they are all Lesser Powers.
Silence should shut down a Spider Daedra's Shock, Heal, and Summon Spiderling spells, but not their Poison Spit. Poison Spit is apparently a Lesser Power, but the other spells are not.
The amount of magicka they have seems to be a fixed amount unless they're a leveled creature. For Leveled Creatures, magicka is apparently a base value multiplied by their level. I'll have to look at the CS later to get the values as I'm on a public PC right now.
(Ok I looked and Storm Atronachs have a Base Magicka of 30, a Willpower of 70, and are fixed at level 17. Likewise Spider Daedra are fixed at Level 16, have a Base Magicka of 150 and a Willpower of 75.
Since both are not leveled creatures, I'm going to assume their maximum magicka is the same as their base.)
Damage Magicka isn't very useful in my opinion as their magicka just keeps regenerating.
Damage Intelligence effects do nothing to Creatures as their Intelligence stat does not augment their magicka pool. It seems their Intelligence stat is instead related to their AI. The higher it is, the smarter they fight. Apparently if it's over 30, they can open doors.
Damage Willpower is probably the better effect to exploit. Reducing their Willpower to 0 makes their magicka regeneration agonizingly slow.
As far as I know, the only effect that shuts regeneration down completely is Stunted Magicka and there is no way for the PC to inflict such a status ailment.
