Who voiced Jyggalag?

Post by Bauglir100 »

Hi, everyone. I've been editing on UESP for a couple years now, but I've only just now started my account for the forums. So I've been wondering for some time now: Who did the voice of Jyggalag in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion's Shivering Isles expansion pack? I've previously asked who it might have been on his article page, but we're apparently not allow to post something like that unless we have more valid proof/confirmation on who it was.

Now, I've already ruled out Wes Johnson, since he already told me that it wasn't him in an e-mail. Here's the conversation:

---
Me: "I was wondering if that was you voicing the Dremora in [Skyrim],
since you voiced them in Oblivion. Or was that someone else? I'd like
to know."

Wes Johnson: "Yep, I voiced them in both games :)"

Me: "Thank you! :)

By the way, did you also voice Liberty Prime in Fallout 3 and Jyggalag
in Oblivion?"

Wes Johnson: "Those I did not. I have a strange relationship with Jyggalag :)"
----

So that rules him out. But I've been thinking for some time now that it was actually Jonathan Bryce (who voices the male Nord, Orc, Khajiit, and Argonian NPCs in that game), since Jyggalag's voice (listen here: https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=InzWBIEDJTM) sounds very similar to the voice of Malacath (as heard here: https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=oZLkDq1vWbU), who Bryce is also credited for voicing.

What do you think? Do you agree that it might be Jonathan Bryce, or that it could be someone else (Jeff Baker, Michael Mack, etc.)
