No longer orphaned kids still act orphaned

So Alvord and his wife died to a dragon. I used the resurrect command on them and their A I acts like neither of them died. Dorthe on the other hand won't shut up about it. I want the old, happy Dorthe back and recycle actor does nothing but put her in her underclothes as she mope about. Anyone think they know how to help?

I've never heard of the OPs problem in Oblivion, I don't think. It sounds like Skyrim to me...

Plus he only has Skyrim in his profile.

I don't think I posted it in the wrong place. It says Skyrim-Help for me but it might be messing up since I'm on mobile =/

That's odd, it says "Oblivion" on my end. I'm on mobile also, using Firefox.

Weird...I just wish someone could help me with this. She was such a happy energetic little kid and now...she's a buzz kill =/

Dorthe is an adoptable child NPC when she is orphaned, and I think that means she should move into Honorhall Orphanage when she is orphaned. Since your Dorthe didn't move to the orphanage, maybe there's a glitch in her "orphan programming".

If so then wouldn't trying to reset her AI fix it? The only command I know for that is recycleactor but even then she stays at Riverwood and acts as if her parents died.

I'm not a PC gamer, so I can't give any advice on that PC Illuminati voodoo magic. I've read plenty of stuff over the years, though, about console commands sometimes not working entirely as advertised.
