Can I install Morrowind twice on my pc?
I have morrowind installed on my laptop and I was wondering if I could install it again in a different place to have two separate versions? On my current version I have all of the mods that I want and have gotten pretty far through the game. I want a vanilla version separate from that to try out the graphics and sound overhaul. It recommends using that mod with vanilla morrowind containing no mods.

Yeah I'm sure you can do that. Just change the destination path where you want to installed. Although what I did was create a copy of the whole Morrowind directory (folder) into my documents. I can say that it works.

I believe I did something similar several years back, but I've since had to move to a new PC so I can't check. I may have installed one to an external hard drive, but I don't recall that being strictly necessary other than due to the file size (when I say this was several years back, it was several years back).
The safest bet would be to make a copy of your first installation in another location before you do anything. I know from experience that when I installed Oblivion via Steam my previous non-Steam installation was overridden.
