TES Online Highlights (No Spoilers)

Post by Tingz0r »

Here's a collection of pictures I took during this last beta session.

I randomized my character, and this is what I got, except for a few small adjustments to some sliders, and his colors. I think I named him appropriately; Murder-Weapon.

Argonians have retractable horns. Big whoop, wanna fight about it?

Cool photo op.

Horns were glowing in the moonlight filtering in from above. Sweet.

Found M'aiq.

Funny double entendre.

General conversation.

This guy's with me.

Now enjoy a series of pictures taken at the scene of a quest that failed to progress. When I arrived, I took advantage of the circumstances, and stood directly on top of where the quest marker was pointing. Hilarity ensued.

lol this guy's name.

/dance

Started more than one band during this debacle.

I told a joke! I can do this crap too.

When I said I was going to sleep, I meant /sleep. The guy just walked away after that.
Image

Just a sweet pic.
Image

This is exactly what it looks like.
Image

The circle of report. I would tell people I wasn't the cause of the problem, but they'd report me anyway, and I would move away from the altar afterward. Of course, nothing happened. Many, many players did this, all leaving the area feeling confused and embarrassed.
Image

Will I be buying the game? No. At least, not unless they drop the subscription model. I would gladly purchase the core game if I could play it on my own time. I had fun messing with people this session, and sadly, that was the most enjoyable thing about it. I would only play this game because it's (loosely) more TES. I really didn't enjoy the MMO part of it that much.
Big raims, big taims.

Some nice images there. I'll be sharing mine from this beta as we are now encouraged to do so.

I hope they do keep the subscription model to be honest after witnessing some downright moronic racist/sexist behaviour in this last session. Hopefully that subscription will keep some of that out. I found turning the chat window off improved the game 100% after that.

However, as I hear a lot of people complaining about this game, I've been having an absolute blast. Now counting the days until launch.

I had a great time this beta, as usual. Didn't end up taking any screenshots, though, I was too busy playing!

I spent some time in each faction, checked out Cyrodiil for the first time, (which was fun. Definitely looking forward to more of that) and was able to finish a quest that kicked my ass last beta. Another quest continued to kick my ass, so I feel they've found a good balance between "too boring" and "too frustrating" that lends itself to a good sense of accomplishment.
