Necklace for Warriors

Post by MidbossVyers »

What is the best necklace for a pure warrior? Obviously, for a pure warrior, custom enchantments will be weak, and the amulets obtained from the College will not be available. The Locket of Saint Jiub is actually for light armor characters based on the enchantment.

In be honest, your bound to find most enchanted jewelry by chance or could buy them off a vendor(shop). Really, unless you invested into it.. most rare loot would easily dwarf your own attempt.

If your considering just buying them<_< Look through general good stores and a few other. Also, The Scorched Hammer has the highest chance of enchanted goods<_< so if you want armor or a pretty necklace.. there you go.. Radiant Raiment would also work

As per actual enchantments, fortify stamina and health are always a good start, and if you fancy it so too are their regen's. Not to mention, you can always fortify certain skills of interest or resistance. Really, what ever floats your boat mate. Wanna be a tank and just charge through? Any one of these work with that style

Locket of Saint Juib is always a good choice. Extra stamina 50 points and carrying capacity 50 points is a solid benefit to a warrior. They're fairly powerful enchantments quite frankly. Maybe the Gaulder amulet if you aren't particularly fond of Saint Juib's locket.

I usually just stick to the Amulet of Talos for the shout cooldown reduction.

I considered the Gauldur Amulet, but one of the pieces is a College exclusive.

Ugh I forgot about that lol. I still haven't finished that quest for the same reason. I had to join the college for a Dawnguard quest I think...

Yeah I agree with Locket of Jiub, Gauldur amulet, or custom enchanted piece of jewlery.

Resistance? On armor or jewlery, for a tank. . . NO! Agent of mara, lord stone, dragon aspect(looks awesome), black book skill, aeterium crown with lady stone, breton race, snakeblood and magic resistance+save from death, elemental protect in block and beastblood or vamp will give a butt load of resistance and protection. For warior, stamina (not regen, for that you use the windwalker perk in light armor tree), healt regen, and for the love of god, damage! Do not use Heavy armor for wariors or anything else, because its praticaly cary capacity killing worthles sheit, it maybe looks cool, it maybe your style, but if you cary loots n loots of sheit, go light, because practicaly with heavy, half of your cary thill level 40+ will be your armor, onley aceptable heavy set is with ebony mail.

I like heavy armor. It's not much better than light for protection and the perks aren't great, but saying not to use it I think is a little extreme. Yeah it's heavy but that's to be expected. If you manage your items carefully weight isn't a problem. I like looking like a walking tank, even if it makes you move like one.

As for Ebony mail being the only "acceptable" armor, that's pretty opinionated. I like steel plate. Again mostly for it's looks, but also because it's on the better side of the Smithing skill tree. Using steel plate (and investing in the associated perks) means it takes less perks to reach dragon grade armor/weapons, it’s a negligible hair lighter, (though a negligible hair weaker than ebony) and not many artifacts made of ebony are effected by the ebony smithing perk. So unless you want to settle on ebony/daedric armor, steel plate it a little more tactical.

(And again I seriously suggest Locket of Saint Juib! The thing even has an added armor rating. :0 )

But does the armor for the Locket of Saint Jiub increase your light armor skill?

It's only found in Dawnguard. It increases Stamina and Carry Weight, which is quite useful for warrior characters. The only way it effects light armor is that somewhere in the programing of it they made it count as light, though it doesn't get affected by the perks. As long as it doesn't cancel out heavy armor perks I say that would be your best bet.

There's an item collecting quest inside the Soul Cairn where you collect pages of St Juib's memoirs or something. It's a [&@%!]-around quest but it doesn't take very long.

That explains it. "Frank" has only been in there once, he is my beast 2H Warrior, Husband's avatar. Does the locket look "manly"? I will get back in there soon.
