This error R6025 happens within the inner framework of the game, more specifically in the C++ code itself. It means this "pure virtual function" was called in a context that did not make sense with the rest of the program.
A common cause is an out-of-date graphics card driver. You might wanna try updating that first (if you have a graphics card, that is).
