Favorite pre-set class

Post by The One »

What's you're favorite pre-set?! Not a pre-set class chooser? If not then which one would appeal to you most?

I've actually uninstalled Morrowind now but I still love it ( :?: ) and love to discuss it as someone who has completed all three main quests and study it's mechanics and stuff, strange...

Anyway! I've always been a magey-type character, but if I were to play it again I'd be a Monk, wear no armor and switch from hand to hand and a staff in combat, add some throwing weapons from a distance too why not. Plus that way I can switch to wearing light armor with a shield and mace if I want, it's actually pretty tempting to re-install Morrowind, but I don't know...

I use a custom most of the time but Nightblade is close.
Just a couple of stealth and magic skills need reshuffling.
Spoiler:
Re-install!
You know you want to do it.

My best characters have usually been based off of the nightblade build and ive played that preset class a few times and had fun. I did really well with the spellsword preset class which is another favorite, and also had a great time with the preset witch hunter class but that ones quite tricky to play i reckon.

I was almost going to start a new game as a nightblade too, though I wanted conjuration and some skills switch-arroed, My oldest save I was level 29, wore no armor, wielded a deadric dai-katana and the rest magic, but that got very boring...

Perhaps some time in the near future...

-Nightblade, because that makes best use of the skills of the 'default' Dunmer race.

-Warrior, because that seems to be the class the plotline is "set up" for.

I have a hard time using the preset skills. so what I do is look at the preset skills here on uesp from my phone, and on the game, pick 'fill out forms myself' in the beginning, and emulate everything, even the class description, which I type. then I change a few skills. like for example, a class that has an unarmored skill and an armor skill at the same time, or even unarmored and 2 armor skills... wtf??? so I change them to something that is class related.
Nero, THE Knight of the Imperial Dragon, Vvardenfell, Morrowind Province, Tamriel.
Thank you, good day.

Hmm hard one. I almost always play as a pre-set class as I feel it helps with immersion, but I have so many characters from different classes that I have enjoyed playing as. I'd say that the Knight is my favourite class (for a non-Dunmer) as I enjoy the whole idea of chivalry and when I play as one I try to only stick to the (so-called) civilised settlements (Ebonheart, Caldera, Pelagiad and Seyda Neen) which can make things quite challenging!
