Get an empty grand soul gem, or however many you want. Go to either Dark Fissure, Fort Linchal, Fort Istirus, or Wendelbek
-Find a white alter draped with a red cloth
-wait for the correct day which usually happens once a week on the 1st, 9th, 17th, 25th, etc.
-When the correct time is afoot youll see a purple light shining on the alter.
-once you see this, put in a soul gem, and blast the alter with a soul trap spell.
