How do I get the guards to attack humanoid enemies?

Post by Dwalin2012 »

Apparently, only a few people ever ask this question: why do the guards in Morrowind only attack monsters, but never hostile humanoids who attack me? I mean, I can get a gang of bandits into a town and the guards don't react in any way. Could somebody tell me if it's possible to change this using the constructions set? If so, then how?

Fliggerty's Protective Guards Mod, found here http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/V ... il&id=6006, does this, it requires MWSE (Morrowind Script Extender) to run though.
This is only if you didn't initiate the conflict though.

I don't know of any others, at least that I've found.

Thanks for the link, it's much more realistic with this mod.
By the way, I remember a situation that was quite the opposite of what's happening in original Morrowind: when I played Gothic 2, I once robbed a house, a servant attacked me after seeing that and called the guards. The guards DID react... what's strange is that, instead of arresting me for theft, they beat the servant to death for reacting against me
