Killing trolls as pure melee classes

I'd normally just run away while they're unconscious, but I've been given a quest by the king of Winterhold that pays close to 2000 gold to kill a certain troll. Problem is I rolled a barbarian who can't use any spells at all. Is there any workaround for this? Can I use the sleep/corpse disappearance exploit and will the game count it as slaying the troll?
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

I wish this was Skyrim. I'm loving Arena so far but some of the enemies and puzzles in this game are on a whole other level.

Not sure if the exploit would work, but you can always use an item charged with spells. Check the mages guild.
I got to thinking... maybe I'm the Prince of Destruction, and I just don't know it yet.
