Best music to play when playing skyrim :)

In my opinion, amon amarth. Theyre all from norse lands, and all their music is about vikings and norse gods. Its good death metal lol but it fits skyrim perfectly. What do yall like to listen to?

The official game soundtrack. Jeremy Soule is simply the best composer for these kind of games. The music fits the atmosphere almost perfectly.

The OST or some LOTR music. I prefer the OST but sometimes when I'm just doing random crap and not actually focusing on any quests, I'll turn on the LOTR sound track and try and act out things appropriate to the mood of the music.

One of my all time favorite moments in the game came quite recently when I attempted to partially reenact the charge of the Rohirim against the the Orcs at Minas Tirith. I led the Stormcloaks into battle against Whiterun by leading the charge on the back of Shadowmere. I had the Battle of the Pelennor Fields on loop while I shot many Imperials with my bow while still on Shadowmere. After I thought I had killed a sufficient amount of enemies to give the False hope of taking the city, I charged over to the nearest giant camp and lured a couple mammoths (oliphants) to the battle. We defeated the beasts and went in to finish off the rest of the city.

So much fun.

depends on my mood, sometimes i get tired of the combat music, i generally use two steps from hell as a fill in for the standard track

I swear there was another topic on this very subject a while ago.
Anyway I digress, when just walking around doing dragonborn stuff the game soundtrack is fIne and dandy but during fights dragonforce is definately my choice.

Metal. Killing dragons to the sounds of Amon Amarth bring this game to a more epic scale. Demon Hunter, Drottnar, Vaakevandring and War of Ages also fit the setting very nicely. When exploring, I like something more soothing, some acoustic or folk metal. If I had to go with one band, I'd say Amon Amarth.

I was gonna suggest "Back dat ass up" HAHA But now we are just being silly. I like the game soundtrack but sometimes I will play something else for a couple songs and switch back. The Jeremy Soule's music is the best. It matches the game so well.

Funny thing, that: When I reached that place for the first time, the dragons just sat there doing nothing, even if I attacked them.

they got up and attacked me when i used an ebony arrow to wake each of up, tho it may have been the ebony needles in their rumps more than my charming personality
