Personality Boost Glitch?

Post by bushwhacker2k »

Okay, so I enchanted a ring so that it boosts my personality by quite a bit for a few seconds, and this is helpful at first... but it APPEARS to globally lower my disposition with everyone afterwards...

Am I mistaken, anyone else seen this?

Yes, I believe it was actually implemented intentionally too. Reason being is that people don't like to be conned into liking you through magics.... Think about the story of the Masque of Clavicus Vile where the ugly girl is rewarded the mask, is then loved by a Lord, has a kid, loses the mask, and then her husband gets rid of her.

Interesting, I'll have to be careful not to use personality boosting items anymore...

I wonder if charm works the same way (I haven't really tested because it's so absurdly expensive).
