I have some strenge feling that game steal item insted if you just to framing you.
Frst time i think it hapen to me wen i talk whit merchant and wen we finishet talk i procide doing my bisnises but he aproch and say something like
how this get here and remove som item from me.
Same thing hapened to me wen i whas on other char, siting in the inn and i her sound like wen you pick item and after i get atacked on exit from town
bu 3 bullies.
Realy strenge but it may be acident, have some one have similar expirience?

My guess is simply your grabbing things while attempting to talk to a merchant or get up from a chair.

I'm not trying to be an ass here, but I didn't understand most of that post. Yes I get the general gist of what you are saying, but only after several minutes of intense concentration.

In answer to your question, I agree with the previous post, you are probably just picking things up by accident when trying to talk to someone. I do it all the time when trying to stand up after sitting in a chair.

There's a thing called proper spelling and punctuation use it. Sorry for being all grammer nazi but it really bugs me when someone writes like that.

Anyway the previous posters have already said whats happening, and I'm complaing. It is pretty annoying when this happens, maybe a "Do you want to steal this" menu should pop up.

Siken's skill with the English language is quite wonderful and I praise him for what he has done. I understand perfectly well what he's trying to say, and it is very good.

I wish I was as good with a language apart from the one I was born to.

Siken: yes, I see some items that I thought I was a gift, but the owner said I stole. I do not take things any more, I decide to buy them instead of taking them even if I think it a gift.

Anyway, to stay on topic, I've been made the victim of unintentional theft, but not in the way the OP states. Firstly, there's the situation of honestly "Taking" a book you've read, when the on-screen button menu text actually says "Steal", which isn't rendered in eye-catching theft RED. And then, there's the issue of having items that you've instructed your Follower to "Take" being flagged as "Stolen" after you transfer them into your own inventory.

English will be iterpretiran in many ways, it actually means to have a very short selection of words which also worsens the situation when all said together can enter into a ridiculous meaning.

I think what's going on is that a merchant is saying that you stole something? I think that's a bug, I mean it's not like any other NPC can steal.

I hope you're right because of the low level it is very difficult to deal with Thugs because cinematic kill camera trigger a lot when you are under attack of 2-hand weapons.
