I'm not sure how Morrowind specific this is, but of all the TES races, the Khajiit, with their third-person speak and Skooma drinking ways in addition to their mystical presence are probably the wackiest, although in only a good way.

Khajiit because they end up being born a different kind of Khajiit based on the moon cycle. Now that is weird. Also they take loads of drugs as part of welcoming people. What? Oh, yeah most Khajiit look like cats. I guess some people may find that weird....

Argonians are a lot weirder than Khajiits to me. XD I love their third-person speak. Calling themselves "this one" and saying their name is endearing, I guess . .

That, and they're cats, the most demonic, sadistic, and innocent looking mammals in the world, yet these ones aren't innocent looking...

Argonian easily trump the Khajiit I could find you several books and quotes that explain in detail about the enviornment and culture of Elsweyr, but I bet hardly any of you could do the same for Blackmarsh.

Yes, in the sense that we have no explanation for their weirdness and that all lore we have now points to Argonains "riding the roots", living multiple nasty creatures and have several offshoots themselves, plus their whole connection with the Hist shows that they aren't related to the Elfhoney at all, and further removes them from the 'norm' of the Elves/Men.

Weird =/= not known about. Khajiiti culture is highly unusual, from the language to the ja'Kha'jay, to their Pantheon and even the concept of the Elsweyr Confederacy's name. The Argonians are odd, and alien, too, but I don't think they're as insane as the Khajiit.

Dude. Argonians change their whole body type by licking a sentient tree. To me that's more far fetched and downright weird than appearance influenced by the moon. Our moon influences various things on earth as well, it's not as weird, to me at least.
