I am thinking that 2012 is not going to be the apocalypse, but rather the beginning of the end for our "democracy", and the beginning to a monarchy. Yes, I am a conspiracy theorist, but I'd like to here more than "Why would the government do that?" in your guys' posts

Smaller more efficient military...
So today I woke up to President Obama's latest speech at the Pentagon. He talked about how the government is trying to create a leaner, faster, and better armed military. I have a bad feeling that the "war" in Iraq is done (I believe it never a war, 911 wasn't real, it was just used to justify invading the middle-east for oil), and we are moving into a more offensive standpoint, where we will make more acts of "terrorism" around the globe.

How about you put forward one single point that justifies anything you've just said to make your point remotely valid.

I'm not trying to prove this to anyone, I just needed to get this out there for my own sake

You say this as if you have indisputable evidence that this is the case. But you don't. So in other words, how that sentence should have gone isFrostMage79x wrote:(it was never a war, 911 wasn't real, it was just used to justify invading the middle-east for oil)
Glad we have that sorted. Now, you seem to be forgetting what a democracy is. A democracy is a system of government in which the people elect politicians to represent them in matters of state. However, the key point here is the people elect politicians. Everyone seems to have forgotten that politicians do not run the system, the people do. So your coming of the end of democracy will only happen if the American people sit on their asses all day and post about how they think their democracy is going to end instead of going out and being an activist/politician.FrostMage79x wrote:I believe it was never a war, 911 wasn't real, it was just used to justify invading the middle-east for oil
And, in my best Forest Gump voice, that's all I have to say about that.

While I don't have real evidence for this, I don't really post these topics to persuade you guys. I post them when I've had enough of keeping it to myself, and want to vent. Please, any other doubters please PM me, and don't flood this thread with basing posts.

Case closed. There's no evidence, there's no proof, and therefore there is no question. Until something else comes to light, my mind is made up.FrostMage79x wrote:I don't have real evidence

Until you can PM me with a way that this thread won't turn into a hatred for America thread, I'll lock this.
