What's your favorite race?

[Anonymouse]

I'm trying to choose a race to play in Skyrim, so I'm conducting a poll to get your opinion. Feel free to give your reasons for that being your favorite race. I'm allowing re-voting, so your choice isn't set, and maybe you can even convince other voters into changing their vote.

This should be in TES General. And I think we have one already.

I like my character to resemble me as closely as possible or else i find it hard to identify with them. Being English, i figure my blood is a nice warm mix of practical Roman "Imperial", lusty Saxon "Nord" and the miasmic Gael/Celt "Elven". Breton most closely hits that sweet spot, plus having a general resistance to magic and some skill with all the arcane schools, saves me a lot of unpleasant incoming nuke incidents and offers basic magic utility. Main thing i liked about Breton all the way through Oblivion too, is that it starts with zero combat and stealth skills, lets me tailor them exactly how i like without any odd numbers, RPG = OCD ADHD Aspergers brainpain mixed with <3 lol. ><.

Nord or Dunmer are my 2 favs but i love all the races.

There is a thread like this in TES General.
