Anyway, I'm back into Morrowind after a bit of a hiatus, and my companions are clearly insane. I'll ask them to meet me somewhere, and when I get to the inn, they run around seemingly at random until I ask them about "travel together" and pick the option "let's go", at which point they stop running randomly and just run into a wall. They do NOT follow me as they're supposed to, and don't spawn outside the inn door when I leave. I vaguely recall that certain inns seemed not to cause this glitchy behaviour, but if there's some specific thing causing a problem, I would rather fix that than ask my companion to teleport to all 30-odd inns in the dialogue option to test them all.
